PETER TABOADA® since its foundation has maintained a strategy toward the investigation and development of new products in order to give solutions to this market, known very well by the company since 1980. The management of the company understands that the technology developed by us is our greatest competitive advantage.

As a definitive investigation activities assistance, the R&D&I departament is created in 2001, nowadays working with five engineers.

Obtaining the Galician Prize for entrepreneur Innovation 2002, given by the Galician government, has been the official recognition to our investigation and innovation these last years, what moved PETER TABOADA® to national and European investigation elite.

The continuous collaboration with the University of Vigo, The Vigo Marine Investigation Institute (CSIC), The Sea Technology Center (CETMAR), in addition to the development of projects subsidized by the R&D General Secretary of the galician government and the Industrial Technological Development Center (CDTI) give enough reference about our course of development.

PETER TABOADA® knows the importance of the result of the investigation process: innovation, understood as the successful marketing of a new technology. At the moment more that 70 % of our sales are products designed and manufactured by PETER TABOADA®.
