SUCCESSFUL DESALINATION PROJECT FOR THE FISHING COVES OF CHILE

With the help of VOENS, our distributor in Chile, we carry out this new project, which allows the desalination and purification of seawater, to supply the consumption of Chilean fishing coves. It is a containerized reverse osmosis plant powered by solar energy.

This is a Project for the Development and Sustainability of the Caletas Pesqueras, financed by the Government of Chile. Currently, it is estimated that in Chile there are between 150 and 160 fishing coves.

In these coves, artisanal fishing is carried out and it is estimated that more than 80 thousand people make a living from this activity in that country.
