We have completed the commissioning in Chile of the latest large desalination plant we designed and manufactured for the salmon industry. It has been installed on the newest vessel built at the SEFINE shipyard in Turkey for the TRIDENT group of companies. This 4,000m³ wellboat, 81 meters long and 18 meters wide, is now the most modern vessel in Chile for the treatment and transport of live salmon.

This plant produces 10,000m³ of water per day, providing the vessel with a high-capacity, self-sufficient supply of fresh water. This is a key element for carrying out animal welfare treatments and baths directly on board, without relying on external sources, thus optimizing operating times and service efficiency.
