INTER ATLANTIC NAMING CEREMONY

Desalination Dealers Navy News Projects

INTER ATLANTIC NAMING CEREMONY Invited by INTERSHIP, we have attended the naming ceremony of the "Inter Atlantic", the first of the last two LFC (Live Fish Carrier) that the Norwegian shipowner has built in Zamakona. This vessel of 72,20 meters length, dedicated to the transport and treatment of live salmon, has a state-of-the-art desalination plant designed and manufactured by PETER TABOADA. This reverse osmosis plant, which has the capacity to produce 5,000m3 of fresh water per day, will be used to recreate the natural cycle of the salmon with a "bath" in fresh water that causes the release of a parasite that causes a very high mortality rate in this species. [gallery size="large" columns="2" ids="7588,7567"]   This is the second of INTERSHIP's vessels with a PETER TABOADA plant, which will soon be joined by the "Inter Scotia", which is being completed in Zamakona with another 5,000m3 plant. This fleet will be complemented this year with two other new constructions with plants of 15,000 and 10,000m3 on which we are already working. We would therefore like to thank you for the trust you continue to place in us in all your new projects.
