FRESHWATER FOR ISAAC PERAL S-81 SUBMARINE The first Spanish submarine, Isaac Preal S-81, has an osmosis plant designed and manufactured by Peter Taboada. In Navantia Cartagena took place in April, the baptism of Isaac Peral S-81, the first submarine of design and manufacture 100% Spanish. We are very proud to have manufactured the equipment that will provide drinking water to the 4 submarines that will make up this series. For this project, we successfully developed a fresh water generator by reverse osmosis that has been subjected to the toughest work tests (impact, fatigue, vibrations, noise, electromagnetic frequency, ...) to meet all the technological requirements required by the world’s most advanced non-nuclear submarine.
